To date, the AKC Canine Health Foundation has contributed to over 890 peer-reviewed publications in both veterinary journals and journals with broad biomedical community readership. Original projects funded by the AKC Canine Health Foundation are cited or “used” by another investigator to make strides in the area of study more than 34,000 times.

Help Future Generations of Dogs
Participate in canine health research by providing samples or by enrolling in a clinical trial. Samples are needed from healthy dogs and dogs affected by specific diseases.
