Susan Childs, CPA
Susan Childs is the Director of Finance for the AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF). She directs accounting operations and financial reporting for CHF.
Susan earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She started her career in public accounting with KPMG and went on to hold various financial roles within higher education. She has a passion for non-profit environments helping organizations thrive through a focus on process improvements, timely and accurate data for decision making, and authentic leadership.
Susan lives in Raleigh with her four kids and three dogs. She enjoys travel, kayaking, and foodie experiences.
Help Future Generations of Dogs
Participate in canine health research by providing samples or by enrolling in a clinical trial. Samples are needed from healthy dogs and dogs affected by specific diseases.
