AKC Canine Health Foundation Welcomes Two New Members to their Board of Directors

RALEIGH, NC (April 12, 2018) - The American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation (CHF), a nonprofit organization committed to better health for all dogs, is pleased to announce that Dr. Kristin Bloink and Ms. Karolynne McAteer were elected to serve on the Board of Directors at the CHF board meeting on March 11, 2018.

Kristin Switz Bloink, DVM, MPH, PA-C, DACVPM, is the Senior Director of Global Research and External Innovation at Elanco Animal Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Iowa, her Masters of Public Health degree at the University of Michigan, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Michigan State University. As a lifelong dog lover, she has been a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America since 1993 and a member of the Leonberger Club of America since 2003.

Karolynne McAteer is the Director for Public Relations at Assisi Animal Health. She is a second-generation Irish Setter breeder and an American Kennel Club (AKC) judge of Sporting Groups and Field Trials. Ms. McAteer is the AKC delegate for the Irish Setter Club of America, and has sat on several delegate committees. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the American Kennel Club, and is a member of the steering committee for their new venture, AKC.TV.
