Canine Cardiac Genetics
The lecture, originally presented at the 2015 National Parent Club Canine Conference, focuses on the most current research on inherited heart disease. Developments in the understanding of subvalvular aortic stenosis, cardiomyopathies and genetic influence on drug therapies are discussed. The session concludes with a discussion on the responsible integration of genetic testing into breeding programs.
