It is my pleasure to provide my strongest and most enthusiastic support for Dr. Dana Ford in her application as Ohio State’s nominee for the AKC Canine Health Foundation Clinician‚ÄêScientist Fellowship. I serve as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I continue to maintain a research lab and my Principal Investigator status on an NIH/NCI program project grant now in its 19th year. I approach nominations to prestigious fellowship positions such at this, as a researcher who sees the unique potential of Dr. Ford and her training team. This fellowship will provide Dr. Ford the ability to evolve as a clinician scientist in canine research and advance canine health and wellness.
