How We Work Together
Purina’s commitment to canine health is evident in its long history of supporting CHF initiatives.
Together, we:
- Fund pivotal research projects.
- Develop innovative funding sources, including the PPCP Program, which empowers breed clubs to fund research relevant to their breed.
- Host the biennial National Parent Club Canine Health Conferences, bringing together breeders, veterinarians, and researchers to share knowledge to advance canine health.
- Recognize that by working together we can do more for our dogs and have formed a multi-million-dollar alliance to advance canine health research.

Partnership Initiatives
Walk of Champions and Path of Honor
In 2010, Purina opened the state-of-the-art Purina Events Center in Gray Summit, Missouri. The Event Center hosts all-breed dog shows, national specialties, agility and obedience trials.
Purina Parent Club Partnership Program
Purina Pro Club members who elect to participate in the PPCP Program and designate a particular club accrue points for their breed when they submit UPC codes from qualifying Purina brand dog foods.
National Parent Club Canine Health Conference
Since 1997, Purina has been an instrumental sponsor of the biennial National Parent Club Canine Health Conference, providing a meaningful gathering of breeders, veterinary team members, researchers, and dog lovers dedicated to the latest advances in science for canine health.
