Calvin B. Carpenter, DVM, MBA, DACLAM
Dr. Carpenter is the Executive Director of the AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF). In this role, he has direct oversight of CHF’s programs, finances, and development and provides leadership and strategic direction towards achievement of CHF’s mission and goals.
Dr. Carpenter earned his veterinary degree at Oklahoma State University and his MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed a Laboratory Animal Medicine Residency at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) and is a Diplomate of the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine.
Dr. Carpenter lives in Cary, NC with his wife, Heather, and lab mix, Tripp. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and cooking.
