Samples Needed from Havanese

Dr. Sandra Koch is studying the genetics of sebaceous Adenitis in Havanese to ultimately identify the gene(s) associated with sebaceous adenitis in dogs. They are looking for Havanese dogs of any age with suspected or diagnosed sebaceous adenitis and Havanese dogs that are 7 years of age or older without sebaceous adenitis. They need:

1. One single visit at the Veterinary Medical Center
2. 5 ml of blood sample
3. 2-3 6 mm skin biopsy samples Contact the investigators for shipping requirements
