BCKC Raises $2,300 for Canine Health

11/17/2011

Baltimore County Kennel Club's 75th Annual All Breed and Obedience/Rally Show was held on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Timonium Fairgrounds in Maryland. As part of their 75th Annual show celebration, the club held a raffle that raised $2,300 for canine health.

First prize in the raffle was a gold and diamond pendant of the winner's dog breed from Nelson Coleman Jewelers.  Second prize was an oil portrait of the ticket holder's dog by artist Marcie Cowie.  And third prize was two tickets to 2012 Westminster show plus $200 in spending cash.

The raffle proceeds were donated to the AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF), and the check was presented at the November 9 meeting of the Baltimore County Kennel Club.  CHF volunteer Becky Sullivan attended the meeting to accept the check from club president Suzanne Berney.

Thank you Baltimore County Kennel Club for your committment to canine health and to club vice president, Don Peacock, for all your hard work facilitating the donation!
