Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
Please visit our booth at the Westminster Kennel Club 136th Annual Dog show for canine health information and the latest breakthroughs in canine health research.
While at the show you can also purchase the 2012 Westminster Kennel Club poster. Proceeds from sales of the poster will go to benefit the AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF). CHF will also receive the original artwork. Posters will be available for sale at the dog show, or you can print an order form and purchase yours today!
"Hickory," a pen, ink and watercolor image produced on paper by noted illustrator Chris Duke has been selected as the winning artwork to represent the 136th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show February 13-14, 2012.
For the second consecutive year, the contest was sponsored by the New York Academy of Art, which also selected five additional finalists. The winning image of the 2011 Best In Show winner will be utilized in a poster and in other club materials to promote the 2012 show.

Testing and Submitting Canine DNA Samples
In this edition of Genome Barks we hear from Dr. Roe Froman, a practicing veterinarian and a researcher at the Van Andel Institute in their Canine Hereditary Cancer Consortium (CHCC). Dr. Froman discusses the importance of testing and submitting DNA samples to organizations like the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC), and how dog owners and clubs can encourage sample collection from both healthy and affected dogs.
