Mona Povlick
Mona Povlick, CPA, is the Director of Finance for the AKC Canine Health Foundation. Mona is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from North Carolina State University in 1991. Mona was licensed by the NC State Board of CPA Examiners as a Certified Public Accountant in 1994.
Before joining the AKC Canine Health Foundation in 2011, she served as Senior Accountant for The North Carolina Partnership for Children, Inc. as well as The News and Observer Publishing Company. Mona also served as an Internal Auditor for Sprint in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and as an Auditor at Ernst & Young in Raleigh, North Carolina.
In her free time, Mona enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on her alma mater North Carolina State University in football and basketball, and raising her daughters. She shares her home with her husband, Michael, her daughters Paige and Kady, and her two cats, Wolfpack and Pirate.
