Kathryn Simpson

Kathryn Simpson is the Development Coordinator for the AKC Canine Health Foundation.  Kathryn moved to Raleigh after graduating from the University Of North Carolina Wilmington in 2009, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.  While attending UNCW she became actively involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and assisted with fundraising events through her sorority to help grant wishes for terminally ill kids.

Prior joining the AKC Canine Health Foundation in 2011, she worked for a promotional marketing agency, Co-Options, as their Program Manager and Sales Accountant. 

Kathryn is responsible for managing donor recognitions and assisting with the fundraising software and other development activities for the Foundation.

In her free time, Kathryn enjoys the outdoors, painting, and spending time with friends and family.  Kathryn and her husband Andrew live in Raleigh with their Golden Retriever, Andi.
