Rita Gardner
Rita Gardner is the Executive Assistant for the AKC Canine Health Foundation. Rita spent her first sixteen years as a "military brat", moving every two or three years, and is happy to call North Carolina her home.
Rita came to the AKC Canine Health Foundation in 2003 after eight years with the American Kennel Club, where she worked in customer service and show operations. She has thirty years of work experience from her first real job as a Bank Teller to her present position as Executive Assistant, where she uses her organizational skills to keep the office running as efficiently as possible.
At home Rita enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her Lhasa Apso, Pudge and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sophie.
