Dr. Janet Jackson
Dr. Janet Jackson serves on the Grants Committee of the AKC Canine Health Foundation. She earned her Ph.D. in animal nutrition at the University of Illinois. Dr. Jackson joined Nestlé Purina PetCare in 1990. As vice president and director of the Basic Research Group, Dr. Janet Jackson leads a team of scientists in the fields of nutrition, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology and protein and lipid metabolism. Their mission is to build nutritional knowledge constantly to improve Nestl? Purina PetCare's products and enhance the health and well being of pets like yours. She has participated in developing more than 30 new products and product enhancements in premium, super premium, and veterinary product lines. She has also conducted research on feline pediatric nutrition and feline urinary tract health.
